If you either click an e-mail link or fill in the
contact us form we will
be only too happy to send
a larger image or have certain areas requested enlarged.
(all the images on this site have been purposefully reduced
in quality to allow the web
pages to load faster)
At present I am going through the whole web site altering every page to show an inclusive price rather than plus postage. If there are any not changed over they are clearly marked.
If you would prefer to collect and save shipping costs please contact us and we can arrange.
Buying more than one does not double the postage.
To protect your investment and our reputation we send
fully insured,
by courier
or
signed for recorded delivery.
We have no intention to profit from postage costs
so what you pay is what it costs or less.
We cannot accept liability for any import fees
your country may impose.
We would feel privileged to be trusted with such tasks
any subjects considered
excepting,
please no portraits of
people or
pets
these subjects are too personal
and need face to face sittings.
If
you would like us to paint from a photo
we would invite you to send it by e-mail or post. This would
allow us to assess the topic.
We will get back to you to ascertain exactly what is required and
discuss how we
can add or subtract from the photographic
information
to enhance the subject
and
also discuss size options and pricing.
We would require a 40% deposit before starting. When we are near to completion we will send you a
good size photo
of the work
and take any final instruction.
Once the painting is completed and agreed upon,
we would ask for the rest of the balance and post it out.
From starting to being firm enough to dispatch can take
around 6 weeks. If you would like us to paint a
specific view / subject
and you do not have a photo
we may have photo records of it or be able to track
some down.
Either way drop us a line and we can have a talk about it.
If you purchase a painting from us
and when it is delivered,
find it
is not
what you expected,
for whatever reason,
we will refund the full purchase price.
Provided it is returned undamaged
within 14 days of receipt.
In the unlikely event of the painting
arriving damaged on delivery
to yourselves, please do not accept,
let the courier return it to us,
it is fully insured
.
If returning a painting.
it should be insured and recorded.
If it is not
and we either do not receive it
or receive it damaged
we cannot give a refund.

Each painting is individually created by hand,
no two paintings will be the same.
The painting is your property but (as is common practice)
the artists retain the copyright on their work.
You should own the copyright
or have the owners
'permission to use'
any photograph submitted for painting.
(roughly speaking this means - if you took it it's ok)
Small paintings fit anywhere and thus are a lot more saleable.
Just
take down that clock/calendar/photograph,
any small boring alcove comes alive,
A blank wall is turned into a background for displaying your painting
or how about a set of 3 or 4 going up a stair.
A large painting
depending on complexity and final quality required
can take quite a time to complete and I would then have
to charge more for it, which would then take longer to sell.
In the near future I will add a few larger ones and see how they do.
These are oil paintings painted by hand
by "talented artists" (blush)
Especially for you
no one else in the world has one the same
it will add depth, interest and quality
to your home
that no other wall ornament can match.
Scotland
never goes out of style
If looked after they can be handed down
through the generations.
Original oil paintings have the power to enhance
any room in which they are hung.
They can express the character and personality of the owner.
They can display wealth and status or pedigree.
They also by their nature indicate someone who has gone
a bit further than the
local Wallmart
to achieve the image they want to show.
They add an extra dimension to a room.
Even at the office, an expensive desk and carpet
shows a prosperous firm
but a painting shows who they are talking to.
