Abstract Paintings – The Contemporary Paintings in our International art galleries section are, as in the rest of the site, all created using oil paint as a medium. All paintings shown in the Gallery pages are selected for their appeal, we have access to hundreds more abstract and also other styles if there are any specific themes you would like to see more of, or even get a price for, just drop us a line.

There are two main types of paintings being representational and abstract, each main type can be further broken down into hundreds of sub-types or styles or degrees of representation or abstraction.

Abstract art is a style that requires thought and imagination to bring out the best in the painting. The abstract artist uses different colours, shapes and textures together to create a finished piece that resembles something in particular.

The paintings shown are paintings we
have chosen and the selected artists are more than capable of
faithfully reproducing them.

When ordering one of our custom paintings, we ask for a 50% deposit upon placement of your order. In about 3 weeks when the painting is finished, we will send you a high resolution photo of your purchase, and carry out any alterations you may need. Once the painting meets your full approval we will ask for the remaining 50% then immediately post your original oil painting.

As with all our paintings, if on receipt, for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you can - within 14 days - return the painting to us and we will refund the purchase price in full (excluding postal charges).
